At
Annecy Animation Festival, which took place from 8th June until 13th June, 2009,
the famous french school of animation Gobelins released five short film to introduce each day of screenings at this year's Annecy festival.
Made in 4 months of production (january to april 2009) by 2nd year students in
the Animation Department,
these short films refer to Germany and dance, blending traditional and digital technicals, with sometimes poetry, romanticism or a touch of humor...
So, it's five original animations that I suggest you to discover them during sunday to come.
And today, we are beginning with :
Monstera Deliciosa, an animation from
Jérémy Macedo, Julien Perron, Ornélie Prioul and Rémi Salmon who have directed the story of a lamplighter in a tropical glasshouse who is beguiled by mysterious sprites.
Le Lac Gelé from
Jean-David Fabre, Fabien Guillaume, Sébastien Hary, Paul Nivet and Vincent Verniers : an old man is led by a strange dog to a frozen lake in a vast cavern, and he ventures out onto the ice....
Appointment next week for the course of these animations !
P.S : Thanks to Iensis.
