Today, I suggest you to discover a dock a little particular : it's Bubble Dock.

Developed by Nosibay, Bubble Dock is a free application that allows you to create an interactive and personalized universe on your desktop !

Situated on the top of your desktop, this tool has the functions of a classical dock and also integrates the management of widgets, RSS feeds, podcasts, videos...



So, you can drag and drop on a dynamic bar or a carousel links to news site, radio online, games, etc. and also shortcuts to your documents, folders or favorite applications.

Besides, Bubble Dock offers to create alerts on your favourite web sites in order to be informed in real-time about the news.



Still in beta version, Bubble Dock is compatible only with Windows operating system (2000 or later). Available in French and English, it requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or next.

Rather greedy with memory, unfortunately Bubble Dock doesn't allow you to customize the dock with your own icons. You can change icons only with those of Bubble Dock library. Moreover, to reach the library and Bubble Dock menu, you must be connected.
