Wow ! The final version of openSUSE 11.1 is lastly available for download.




No really novelties in this latest version of the Linux distribution, sponsored by Novell, but mostly an important update to the version 11.0, launched in june, which brings many improvements such as :

- a new license that makes it much easier to redistribute openSUSE
- Linux kernel 2.6.27.8rc1
- the integration of the latest stable version of X.Org : X.Org 7.4
- the integration of desktop environment GNOME 2.24.1 and KDE 4.1.3 (and 3.5.10, in option)



- OpenOffice.org 3.0



- Firefox 3.0.4
- audio player Amarok 1.4.10 et 2.0
- a better security with the addition of SELinux
