What is a "Nerd Proliferator"?
In all simplicity it is just an avatar generator with a fancy name. It is placed on a website as a PHP script with options for a user to choose from. When the generate button is pressed, a cute little "Nerd" appears before you. They can take all shapes and sizes like the one above or like my current avatar.

What do I use this for?
In the end you are left with a nice PNG that you will save to your computer. You may use this PNG for anything you would like, from commercial software to making icons for your own home PC. They make awesome forum avatars and signature characters.

Who made this thing and where can I get it?
You will be happy to know that your friendly neighborhood punks have made this script for you to use and abuse.

We have much to add but it has to start somewhere. Be on the lookout for more parts and pieces to add to your Nerds.

We are having a Nerd Contest at Punk! Software Generate a nerd using our Proliferator and submit it using the guidelines in our contest to have it used in our avatar gallery.
