Many users looked forward to its release and now Gnome 3.0 is available at last!

This new version is a major milestone in the history of the GNOME Project. Gnome 3.0 brings new features and some improvments.

In fact, Gnome 3.0 introduces a new interface, more modern and elegant with a new visual theme, a new font and animations.



The desktop has been designed to be more simple and easier to use thanks to the introduction of the activities view which provides an easy way to access all your windows and applications.



Messaging are directly integrated into the GNOME 3 desktop allowing thus to reply to a message directly from its notification.


Instant messaging appears at the bottom of the screen so now you can reply directly without changing focus.



Everything can be quickly accessed from the keyboard.


The system settings and the file manager have been redesigned.
