I love how I'm looking for an update button, go to preferences and realise this latest version has happily installed itself.

I don't remember ever having been asked if I wanted it to do that...

I have been using Chrome as my default Windows browser for over a year now. Last night I uninstalled it from my machine. It has been crashing on me the last 3 weeks and giving weird errors on start up. On Google I couldn't find a better solution then to reinstall Chrome, this wouldn't fix the problems for me.

Hope to install it in the future again and be more happy about it then! : )

Yeah, it updates itself. I booted into my beta testing partition (keep in mind I haven't been in there in a few weeks) and by the time I opened Chrome it had already updated itself. Crazy!
