A little news to inform you that recently the KDE team announced the availability of KDE 4.5.
So, the final version of KDE 4.5, the desktop environment for Linux platforms is now available from KDE official website.
This latest version brings some improvements, bugs fixes ( 16000 bugs fixed), some new features and more stabilisation.
Well, what's new in KDE 4.5 ?
The Plasma Desktop has a new notification area in the panel: based on D-Bus, the notifications system is now more simple, it has been cleaned up visually...
The window manager KWin has a new display mode : it can now lay-out windows on the screen without overlapping using tiling algorithms.
A new game, Kajongg, written entirely in Python, has been introduced
The web browser Konqueror supports now Webkit
