Yesterday Google has officially announced the arrival of an update for Google's Search Interface !
The aim of Google through this light lifting : offer a powerful and simple search technology to help user to find exactly what he's looking for.
On the menu of this new interface:
a more colorful and brighter logo where the shadow effects are reduced
the disappearance of "Show menu" options and the emergence of a new dynamic side panel, left-hand navigation to the page. This panel appears around-the-clock and adapts your searches. Indeed, in function of your type of query, the order of categories changes to help you refine your searches.

i like the new google design, tho it confused me first time i used it.
However, I dislike the left sidebar immensely. It makes me think there are ads surrounding my search results. Puts me in mind of the Bing search engine. I hope they'll go back to normal if we complain enough.
