Google a rival to Facebook and Twitter ?
Google has decided to turn toward social network and has announced the arrival of a new service: Google Buzz!
Buzz is a new feature integrated within Gmail, below your inbox, which allows you to automatically follow people you contact frequently : you can read and comment on friends posts and you can post status updates in real-time, share photos, videos and other information such as Twitter messages, contents from Flickr, Google Reader or Picasa Web Album... but not Facebook
Buzz also looks for conversations outside your direct group of followers and adds them to your feed as recommendations.
Demonstration:
You have a choice of making your posts private or public, so you can post things for the whol world to see, or just to specific groups of people.
For the moment, Google buzz is still in deployment phase and does not appear in all Gmail account, Google said "it is a matter of time".
Notice that Google has integrated Buzz apps for phones running its operating system Android and also for iPhone. Another platforms will be coming soon !
