A screencast or a screencasting is a technique allowing you to make a video of what happens on your computer's desktop in real time with audio or not. Screencasts are useful for demonstrating and teaching software features, how to use an operating system... Thanks to some screencasts software we can create video tutorials (Photoshop, Gimp...), demos (games for example), training, lectures and more such as making of animations, etc.
