Recently the KDE Community announced the availability of KDE 4.3. 
So, KDE 4.3, code name Caizen, is now available from KDE official website. This latest version brings some improvements, bugs fixes ( 10000 bugs fixed), new features (they implemented almost 2000 features requests in the last 6 months) and more stabilisation.
The changes in KDE 4.3 are largely in three categories: the desktop workspace, the applications, and the development platform.
What's new in KDE 4.3 ?
- integration of a new technology named PolicyKit, a library which provides a mechanism for applications to authorise certain actions based on profiles
- integration of Geolocation
- many new desktop effects added
- introduction of a new default theme, Air
- many addons for Plasma added
- possibility to configure actions of KRunner, a search and launch system for running commands and finding useful information
