Since a week, everybody have the possibility to download the Release Candidate of Windows 7, the next operating system of Microsoft.



At the launch of the RC of Windows 7, the Giant of Redmond didn't give a date for the release of the final version. And until now, according to official statements of Microsoft, it should appear in 2010...

But there is many rumors, notably following an indiscretion of Acer who announced that the OS will be available 23 October, 2009. So the release date of Windows 7 was subject to various scenarios... and 2010 became unlikely...


Hypothesis confirmed by Microsoft at TechEd North America 2009. Well, monday, Microsoft announced that Windows 7 will ship this year, in time for the holiday shopping season : "With early RC testing and extensive partner feedback we've received, Windows 7 is tracking well for holiday availability".
