A few months ago
I have presented you free web sites to help you to direct your blog or your site, but also to make nice creations with harmonious colors.
Well, I'm back with
a new selection !
A selection of sites which
suggest you to organize images of your blog or your site in more or less original way through
free scripts in JavaScript.
Most are dedicated to image gallery creation, others will allow you to add many effects to your images.

CVI projects is a website that offers you scripts in JavaScript to add nice effects on your photo such as :
shiftzoom.js : a script to add zoom and pan functionality to oversized images on your webpages
busy.js : it allows you to add/remove loading indicators to html elements (or viewport) on your webpages
sphere.js : a script to add a spherical picture effect to images on your webpages
corner.js : it helps you to add corners (and also shading and shadow)
instant.js : it allows you to add an instant picture effect (including tilt) to images
bevel.js : it help you to add bevels (and also shading, shining and glowing) to images on your webpages
reflex.js : a script to add a Cover Flow on your images
filmed.js : a script to add film strip and shadow to images

The effects are simple, but it's a good alternative if you don't want to edit your images in Gimp, Photoshop or other software... Each script runs on Mozilla Firefox 1.5 +, Opera 9 +, Safari and Internet Explorer 6 +. You have also the opportunity to test these different effects by clicking

Carousel.us : a script in JavaScript that allows you to
create a carousel of photos in 3D and add text on each of them. It uses either the
prototype.js and

mootools.js frameworks, but also

MacStyleDock : a script proposed by the site
Safarla to release in JavaScript
a menu with the famous dock effect, well-known of Mac OS X (

Reflection.js 2.0 : a cross-browser script to add reflections to images on your webpage. It works in all the major browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and even Google Chrome (

Galleria : this javascript image gallery is written in jQuery. It loads the images one by one from an unordered list and displays thumbnails when each image is loaded. It will create thumbnails for you if you choose so, scaled or unscaled, centered and cropped inside a fixed thumbnail box defined by CSS. (
