It is yesterday that the
Professional Developers Conference or PDC of Microsoft (from October 27 to October 30), conference bringing together developers of the world, began in Los Angeles in order to present the latest products of Microsoft such as Windows Azure, the Micorsoft's modeling platform Oslo, Silverlight... but especially the successor of Windows Vista :
Windows 7.
Today, on this occasion,
a pre-beta should be build and given to participants, the presentation by Steven Sinofsky, director of Windows 7 development, should also present
some progress of the new OS such as its user interface, tools programming, interactions between graphics processors and Direct 3D...
Besides, according to some screenshots of Windows 7, that you can see on
this page,
here or
there, and the recent assertion of Steve Ballmer "
Windows 7 will be Vista, but a lot better" (discover the article by clicking
here), all suggest that Windows 7 will be
an improved version of Windows Vista and that
its visual style will be or will keep close to the one of Vista.
Well, we can still be surprised and discover another style, but given that the code name of their project
Windows Seven became
Windows 7 (not very big change) we can doubt !
In any case, I wonder
what will the logo of the new OS look like, which according to rumors may be launched for November 2009.
Perhaps the PDC will be able to answer some questions, pending if you want more information about Windows 7, you can click
here,
there or following
this way.
Wait and see.
I don't really like all the visual effects. Computes become slow of that...
Still, the menu looks cool at this point in time!
The only improvement I've seen is in MSPaint. We might not even need Photoshop any more. :/
There pretty useful and somewhat "nice" additions, but the only thing I am interested is performance (which nobody has any info about :/)
Thanks for that Legace!
Yeah, no problem
