The online photo retouching is a phenomenon which is developping more and more since the last few months.
Some services are completely free, others paying or they offer a free version (with basics tools) and a paid version (with little more improvement).

Thanks to the online photo retouching, not need to install a software, you work directly from your web browser.
By the way, remember, there was not so long, we talked about Photoshop Express, the free online version and very lite of Photoshop.

Well, today thanks to tekikou, a member of the community of CrystalXP, we will talk about a new online photo retouching service : Pixlr.



Pixrl is the one of the last born in the world of online image editor. Developed by a Swedish team, it is entirely free and it does not require a registration. It uses the Flash technology , and who knows, in the near future it might become a serious competitor of Photoshop Express (but not yet).

Equiped with a nice interface (based on the one of Photoshop), it is relatively complete and offers the basic tools (management layers, contrast, brightness, crop, etc.) But also filters (blur, sharpness, etc.).. We can also open multiple images at the same time, copy them, rotate them...



But it has all the same its limits:
- for the moment it has not transformation functions for elements of the image
- the download time of your photos can sometimes be long
- And it does not allow us to create galleries, photo albums...

Simple to use, currently, it is not for the professional of image, but rather for people who need a basic editing in order to post images on the net, on blogs, social networks such as Facebook or online photo management like Flickr...
