Remember, two years ago
we made a little news about the launch of the first beta version of Google web browser : Chrome. A first version very expected... Follow
this way to read the article.
Well, yesterday,
Google has published the final version of Chrome 6, for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux users, to celebrate Chrome 2nd birtday !
Google offers a version more stable and faster ("Chrome is now three times faster than it was two years ago on JavaScript performance" ) than the previous and some interface changes to mark the browser's second anniversary.
What's new in Chrome 6?
the integration of an automatic form filler "AutoFill": Chrome can save your usernames, passwords, addresses, your frequently used URLs, credit card numbers... so you can fill forms automatically
you can now synchronize autofill data and extensions across different computers
The new version has a simplified user interface: Chrome's two menus have been combined into one, the location of the buttons has been changed, the color scheme has been adjusted...
the browser no longer shows "http://" in the address bar so the address
http://www.crystalxp.net/ appears
www.crystalxp.net/
etc. (for more click
