Update : CustoPack Tools is online !!!

You all know that best ideas always come at the most unexpected moments. For me it's under the shower... Vermi is more inspired on the toilet ! Imagine what can give the association of both !

So it's naturally that Vermi and me have had a brilliant idea during a discussion via an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) :

Create a software which will allow Windows users to easily install complete packs (icons, visual sytle, background, cursors, dll...)

Well, you will tell us : "Easy", you have already made it with Vista Inspirat and Bricopacks ! Of course, but this software will allow you to create your own packs ! Aha ! Now you are more interested in this, aren't you ?

Finally, if we tell you that the software will run under Windows XP, Vista and 7... whatever the version (32 or 64 bits) !
Ah ! Ah ! You want to know more about it !!!



Well, we have been working on this new software since nearly two years. We have called it : CustoPack Tools!

So this software splits in two part:
- A part designed to a public utilization in order to easily install complete theme on the computer
- A second part designed to creators, those who want to create beautiful themes.



Here is a concrete example: for the moment if you want to install the great Dark Soft theme for Windows 7, you currently should follow many instructions for installing it (uxtheme patch, dll system, etc.). As far as we know, these various manipulations discourage many people.

With CustoPack Tools, RajTheeban95 (the author of this theme) will be able to create a "Dark Soft CustoPack" containing dll, the visual style, the theme, a background, icons... When the CustoPack is created, he will be able to export it on the net.



From that moment on, the Internet user, who wants to install the theme, will be able to download a simple .exe which will be dealing with everything. A reboot of your computer and you will have a beautiful theme in 2 minutes.

We have already launched a french private beta of this software and an English private beta will be coming soon. If you want to participate in, you can send us an email at betacustopack@crystalxp.net (specify if you want to participate as a "creator" or as a "public user" ) and you might be selected to form a part of CustoPack Tools (only about twenty seats available)!
