Spritely is a jQuery plugin made by Artlogic that allows you to dynamic character and background animation in pure HTML and JavaScript for your website or your blog. You don't need Flash to made your animations! 
It's an alternative for people who don't like Flash or for those who have a site which doesn't support Flash.
This light-weight plugin is compatible with all the major browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer (even Internet Explorer 6), etc. It works also on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

awesome, but still doesnt work on my phone (verizon droid)....cant wait till flash hits the android platform
It is really interesting but it should be dificult to implement on your web page, so I don't think many people could do that . . .
