News about the beta version of Google Chrome

Still not Chrome for Mac...

While developers of Chromium project developed a pre-alpha for Unbuntu and while we are still waiting for a version available for Mac OS X, yesterday Google announced new functionalities for Google Chrome beta.

25% faster on their V8 benchmark and 35% faster on the Sunspider benchmark than the current stable Google Chrome version, this beta includes some new features such as :

- basic form autofill option
- the zoom options to increase or decrease the size of text on a webpage
- support for autoscroll : when you activate auto-scrolling, via the middle button or mousewheel on the mouse, as you move your mouse, the page automatically scrolls according to the direction of the mouse.
- a new way to drag tabs into side-by-side view :
