I invite you to meet a talented American photographer : Alex MacLean.
Trained as an architect, he is form a part of famous photographers specialized in aerial photographs, like Georg Gerster and Yann Arthus Bertrand. Through his portfolio he shows us many photographs taken from his plane in order to portray the history and evolution of the land from vast agricultural patterns to city grids, recording changes brought about by human intervention and natural processes.
His powerful and descriptive images provide clues to understanding the relationship between the natural and constructed environments.
His impressive work has been exhibited in the whole world and Alex MacLean has written some books, including Over, The American Landscape at the Tipping Point.
