Here an interesting application for Max OSX Leopard that allows you to have many different docks and swap them anytime you want from the menu bar : Dock Spaces 2.10.

Realized by Patrick Chamelo, Dock Spaces suggests you to review entirely your user interface and improves your workspace by switching to a dock (associated to a desktop) to another.

Dock Space is free and allows you to manage 10 docks, each completely customizable :


- create your own dock from an empty dock
- set the name of each dock
- choose between a 2D or 3D display
- icons transparency
- bouncing icons
- enable or disable some icons... (for more, it is by this way)



So, you can dedicate each dock to different spaces and activities such as a dock for working, a dock for music, photography or only devoted to graphics...
