Since a few days, we saw mysterious animated doodles when we went to the homepage of Google search engine:

an interactive logo containing coloured balls or balloons that react to mouse movement

a greyed-out version of the normal logo that then changes to the Google colours when a term is typed in to the search bar
But why these mysterious logos ?
Well, yesterday,
Google has explained the origin of these logos announcing a new feature for its search engine:
Google Instant.
The concept is simple: it turns search into a realtime stream of results which flow onto your screen as you type your query.
It predicts what you're searching for and shows results as you type. It uses Google's autocomplete technology.
If you want to use Google Instant you need to have a google account and the new Google search works on currently these following web browser: Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer version 8 and of course Chrome, but not Opera...
Notice that you can easily disable Google Instant.
So, What are your thoughts on this dynamic and fluid service? Is it useful?
