We used it to make a boring or interesting paper at school, to write an important letter or a CV, to write a news

or better... to compose a beautiful love letter for dlb!
In brief, we all had more or less a story with Word !

I don't know for you, but for me, my first computer was the computer of my father, a TO9 (Thomson).
On TO9, Word didn't exist yet, the word processor software was Paragraphe. And we have kept it a long time, a very very long time...
So I discovered Word when we bought a computer with Windows 95, it was Word 6.0.
And you, when did you first use Word ? Which version?
Now, which version do you use?
I find it rather amusing that the Mac version got a true interface before the Windows versions...
For example, the Print menu has a live preview of what your print will look like.
I was never one for an Office Assistant, however I usually used the Office Logo since it was quietest.
Now I'm using the 2007 Microsoft office suite
