Greetings to all,
         I was thinking for a while that I was  unable to find a thread which our members can share the visual styles  they are using. (of coures there is a thread named 'Share your Desktop  by skunkie but its quite different from this.)
         So here is a  chance for you all to tell about what Visual styles you are using and  what is you like most And also show us what they looks like. Also in  here you can tell us your ideas and imaginary about the visual style  you need, and we'll be there to guide you to find it .
 
  As  for the begining, I've resently updated the Crystal dlb BE (msstyle) by  Mr.dlb and currently I'm using it as my favourite. Here are some my  favourite screen shots

   As for your reminding this is not the original Visual style by dlb. I've changed some of its shellstyle.dll
   
    You can also join here and expose your feelings about other visual styles and your own If you are attaching pictures please read this first
   
    Your picture should contain,
    1.Your explorer window
    2.Start menu
    3.Hidding System files logo
   
    Note: you can add more pictures if you like but don't make them  the same. Also you can also add screen shots your WB theme suits. If  you are using Windows blind.
   
    Remember: If you are using a modified visual style awned by onother (like I have), remember to give propper credits.
   
    And also in this thread, you can tell us that which type of a visual style you'll like to apply to your desktop.
    Just tell us about it and we'll see whether ther are any going parallel or similerly to it.

I've been using Royal Inspirat SE (by stefanka) for a while (about 6 months or so), it's really good theme

But I think that dlb's Crystal Clear visual style will be the one I'll be using for a long time

 i've download now shell-modification-for-crystal-dlb-be.
tomorror i'll try it and i'll post my feedback.

There is a little messup with the above link.
The zip you'll get there doesn't contain the modified shellstyle.dll that was because of a stupid thing done by me.
I've asked Mr dlb to remove it from the list
And I've added the new modification as a new creation and also the visual style. It will be available soon after the validation process

my favourite  visual style a this moment is "an another clone of vista" by 6205 that i've downloaded in deviantart.

"It's not yet released" is perfectly acceptable English.    Be careful correcting other people's English when it isn't your first language either.

I would have to say my favorite Windows Visual Style at the moment is Opus OS 1.5

And for Mac OS X, it is between Aqua (original theme) and Milk by Max Rudberg ( a lot of Windows visual styles are based off this as well as many other Mac themes).  I have been using teh default Aqua Style longest.

Mine is under construction. I use VistaMP downloaded somewhere on DeviantArt but I can't remerber where. You can see my icons are not in harmony. I continue my inspection of the web to find it.

Before that, I use Aluminum Alloy theme by Max Rudberg, downloaded somewhere on Devian... you know that.

Well If I understand correctly what you said, Visual styles don't change your Icons (please ignore this if this isn't  you were saying)

 I downloaded a msstyles with the shell, and when i clicing on the msstyles, it launch and change all the windows but not the icons (when I put it in my ressources folder, I don't replace the old shell, I create a new .1 shell of my original (for security).
For this reason I seek icons

Bumpy, If you are talking about the shellstyle.dll, I just want to remind you that it won't contain icons such as Windows icons. it only contain bitmaps so if you are trying to modify the icons you should be modifying something like shell32.dll

Well deyanira, that may be a problem with the msstyle so try to download a fresh copy of it and try the new one (also remember to backup the new shellstyle.dll)
