XnView (v1.82.4/1.70) is an efficient multimedia viewer, browser and converter.

Xn, great program from France. But I doesn't have a Crystal Skin, so I'm making one but:

I need the Crystal equivalent for the rename icon, the third from the left:

Or where is the Everaldo's Crystal Forum (if any)?

Also is there some icon for the Contact Sheet and for zoon 100%?

Thanks.

I still have a trouble with this white shade around the icons:

I try to put them in a purple bottom, like the XP stile, but did not work.

I need your advice and help.

Well, you could use the pngs with Vista Inspirat bricopack

Edit:* I'll try to give you a post soon with what I could comeup with

Edit Again:* Well, the white shade around the icons of your picture may be because the .dll or another system file using them supports pngs that may be the reason for not accepting the default windows color (R-255, G-0, B255) (#ff00ff)

Final Edit:* Well, Slebon, here's what I've got for you  a total vista like bmp like this

http://img425.imageshack.us/img425/8290/14ci.png

Note This preview is a png format and also has a zoom of 1000% or plus. I've made the exat bmp with transparent color above and in real size. So If you need send me a reply (post here)
I know it'll take two weeks for a reply from you, but not a problem

I really don't understand you  . I used *bmps to change the toolbar in XnView, not *pngs. What system file  do you think is the responsible of this? I have the same trouble with my Crystal comcl32.dll.

Your work is superb, like the XnView. Do you have ever used the program?

I like your icons       , but first I want to learn how to eliminate the white shade.

About White shade :info:
Well, In most of the system files, microsoft has used mostly bmp formats as pictures. :oui: There, to gain the disappearence of the unnecessary areas, they used a color which windows will ignore in viewing them (R-255, G-0, B-255) (#ff00ff) eg:- http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/3859/browserx8mz.png

But identifying this color in a bmp is not 100% present accurate, so In NT versions of Windows, microsoft has upgraded most of their system files to use png formatted images.
In png formats, you don't need to specify the area which you don't want to be shawn with a different color. You just need to leave them blanked and windows will recognise them easily.
Just see the picture attached by me It's a png format :oui: but I haven't filled the spaces between those icons with any color, I just left them transparent, so whereever I put them, the spaces will take corresponding color, http://img425.imageshack.us/img425/8290/14ci.png(this was the same thing done by the color #ff00ff in the past)

So when using a png format, you don't need to give any color for the shade :non: just leave it as it is.

But If you do fill the shade with any color, then you'll see it in the final result

I assume that's what happened here :mdr:
http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/3068/xn8ev.png
[i]You had saved the image as a png format but you had colored the spaces with white

I hope that you were able to understand the fact I was talking about :oui:

If not, just tell me the .dll or other system file you're going to change for this result and I'll give you a picture to replace

Thank you, Simon, for creating the Crystal Clear skin for XnView. And thanks for pointing the XnView forum users to your skin.

Me and quite a number of XnView users would like to see the Crystal skin "live", i.e. in XnView. Could you please tell me the password of the rar archive? Do you mind me putting the skin (without password) on a download server (for users of the XnView forum)?

I don't know about the copyright situation, but some people (including me) wonder whether your skin could become part of the official XnView distribution. What do you think? What about the copyright?

The next release of the graphic viewer XnView is under development and will be finished in the next ~1-2 months. Currently, an alpha version of XnView is available for testing. There will be some new icons in the toolbars which should make it into the Crystal skin, too. Do you think you (or someone else) could make a version of the Crystal skin in this time frame?

Thank you in advance for your answers and again thank you for your effort creating the CC skin for XnView!

Regards, Helmut

Hi to all. The password was in the post, but it must be deleted when I upload the screen caps. I guess it was the name of the finest airline in South America: Aerovías Nacionales de Colombia, so just put Avianca.
