When you import the msstyle in to Skinstudio,
you can select the frameCaption.bmp (the name may be vary) and modify the existing as a glass one or just replace the existing with a glass one :oui:

:info: If you are goung to use another bmp to replace your existing FrameCaption.bmp in the imported msstyle in Skin studio, make sure to select a one with same dimeters :oui:

[BreakeFastClub: I downloaded you files, but the *.wba (windowsblinds-file) has not the same ressources  like msstyle (VS). you can`t take one and use it for the other, you need to create a new  BMP for the "framecaption" (thats what it called) ...    You can choose one framecaption from VS-1 and import it into VS-2, so if you wanna  use a background (framecaption) from another VS I can import it into your favorite  VS ...]

hmmmm, i do not understand that, hmm not for the english

mm what do you say is,.. you download the wba, but this wba do not have the same resources of the msstyle? of course not, hehehe that is why i think you must import the msstyle to skin studio.

for with i know, the translucent and transparency is an effect of. the skinstudio, is not of the skin...

Hi there :loveit:
I've got something for you but I really don't know whether you'll like it

So here is a glassy bmp for your Windows Top Frame (non-transparent)

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4304/glassb2dwindowframehoriznotoolrb9.png (right click>save as)

So see whether this is the one which you want for the top frame of your window.

And try to use 'import' command in Skin studio to use this image in the wba skin :oui:
In any case, if you cannot use import, then go to the  exat folder of the wba skin you're modifying with Skin studio and replace the appropriate bmp

Anyway tell me how you feel about this one.

Well I have just tried with Skin Studio and maybe we have to do something else which I'm not capable of. So an original or professional Wb skin provider could give you the answer to make the transparent.

I may not be helpful to you since I'm just a new designer :oups:
