i am considering downloading the crystal shell but want to know if you only can use crystal style wallpaper or can you you select any of your choosing?

thanks for welcoming me.  Also, can other theme software like samurize or stardock work along with crystalxp without causing it to malfunction or whatever?  I am not to familiar with technical aspects of windows xp  

Yes with the new Shell pak it should be no problem

The new shell pack works very good, and no have any interference with any stardock program. The wallpaper you can change as you want inside your computer.

Club17, i viewed your desktop.  What did you use to line up those icons at the top of the screen?  Also, when you add a new icon or folder to the desktop, does it automatically snap into the grid in that order or do you have to manually place them that way?  Than ks for everybody's responses  

I was order manually    Object Dock can resolve your idea in one horizontal bar at top  or bottom of the desktop.
