Club17, i viewed your desktop. What did you use to line up those icons at the top of the screen? Also, when you add a new icon or folder to the desktop, does it automatically snap into the grid in that order or do you have to manually place them that way? Than ks for everybody's responses

I was order manually Object Dock can resolve your idea in one horizontal bar at top or bottom of the desktop.
