Hello

I am very impressed of the utilities CrystalXP.net is developing.

I found that there is a minor bug, when using the v.0.9.2 with MS Office Outlook 2003 (11.8206.8202) SP3.

1) Create a new email
2) Move the window
3) Lock til menu line (file, edit, show etc) and the To, Cc and Bcc buttons

I hope it is enough to reproduce and correct the bug :-)

Best regards
guldborg

 Mine is doing the same thing, it freezes for awhile once it stops and I look at the task bar I see several bars for TT running. After doing a three finger crash to close the program I reopen it. If I don't reopen it, I can't close, minimize or restore any open windows because the top border is missing.

Thinking maybe the developer needs to run it on a Windows XP SP2 machine and see if he/she can work out the kinks...it's such a sweet program I don't want to have to delete it.

hello

I noticed problems with office 2007
(TT 0.93)
If I resize the window, all the top tab become useless (freezed), I can continue working
on the main page but buttons and tabs on the top do not works, non only the little buttons
in the tranparent area but also the tabs which are under the Tr. area.
I had to exclude the entire office 2007 suite.

XP SP2

P.S.   Truetransparency does not work with inner windows (eg. eudora) maybe this is a
         design feature

First of all I absolutely love this program. Thanks so much for creating it.

Now the problems I am having:

When i saw that you released version (0.9.3) I was pretty excited that you might have fixed the random crash bug from (0.9.2). Well I replaced the old version with the new version. When ever I run (0.9.3) it maxes out my cpu and it will not let go until I close a window that is displaying a transparent frame. It also crashes when you go more then two folders deep, luckily when this happens it replaces the the original msstyle frame unlike (0.9.2) which would lose the entire frame, then I would have to restart all my programs and folders over again to get the frame around them back.

I had to revert back to (0.9.2) because I can't have my processor run at full speed all the time.

I hope you can fix the cpu from maxing out and the random crash bug, because you are so close to getting this program perfected and (0.9.2) runs with so little resources it's amazing microsoft couldn't pull this off with out impacting system performance in vista.

System Specs:
Pentium 4 3ghz
2 gigs of DDR ram in Dual Channel mode
Intel integrated graphics.
Windows XP Home Service Pack 2

This is a limitation of TrueTransparency

Yes, someone already reports this bug. I'm working on it but it's strange because the bug does not appear on all PC.

Your program is absolutely great, thanks Lefreut! The visual glass transparency is superb, the aero skin is buffing and all that in such a small exe and very few ressources.

However when I have updated to the latest version 0.9.3, I've seen that the CPU use shoot up when some windows are open, already with one or two. In fact, as soon as a transparent frame is dispayed. It's quite annoying to run with a full CPU charge with notepad and task manager open^^

Well I hope you'll find something to fix that one of these days :)

No Transparency window with MS Office XP. When Word, and Excel are launched maximized there is no true transparency window. When the window is reduced in size the transparency window appears. Outlook and PowerPoint work fine with it

Edit the file exclude.dat

For Word, add the line:
n="winword.exe"
