I am talking about the world record man... and they say that they are verifying the result

They are many people who download this freeware ! It's not impressing

A french guy would translate with : "There are many people dl-ing this prog, it's not impressing (not sure)

Yes amazing maybe... Sorry I don't speak English very well like you see ...

It is impressing man... Because there are hell lot of freewares out there and its only FF3 that crossed 8.4 Million downloads... That makes it the best Open Source Software!!!

Number of download doesn't make something best software

Well sure its impressing, but I don't really see that the number of downloads = the quality of the product.
There are tons of open source software around the web, and Firefox is definetley one of the best, but not because how many people use it, and not for the browser itself, but for its addons.

I agree with you but Firefox 3 is a good freeware !  

You can't really classify Updates as "software" but I get the point

Anyway, FF3 is the best Open Source of its kind...

And It has got the world record!!!
