:hello: just me here i have a little problem,
you see i installed my full version of window blinds six on vista (previously used it on xp) and i donloaded and installed a theme,
but when i clicked "apply my changes" and tried to use the theme, the splash screen would load, then it would go to the grey windows classic theme :/

I want to use this because my computers graphics card isn't strong enough to use aero or transparency, but it can use transparency with window blinds.

hope you understand my problem :)

It's because you have Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windowblinds isn't compatable with Service Pack 2.

You don't have to, just right click on My Computer - Properties and see what Service Pack it has installed.

Not advisable, the reason it isn't compatible with SP2 is because SP2 has different ways of organising it's themes, so running windowsBlinds in xp mode will probably make it change your system files thinking you're on xp - result? At best a horrible cockup of your graphics. At worst a horrible cockup of your system files :/

WindowBlinds will work with Vista SP2 without problems.

Try reinstalling, and make sure to disable any anti-spyware/anti-virus applications running while installing.
