Hi!

I've been having a problem with the weather module in PodXP and Rainmeter Vistabar........both have recently stopped functioning!  I haven't made any changes to either application and I'm mystified as to why they won't work.  I also on occasion use Yahoo widgets, and the odd thing is that the weather works fine in that program!  Anyone have a clue of what might be the problem?  Could it be my firewall which is Comodo's ?  I haven't done anything but download the updates when they appear and I even added PodXp to my safe list in the firewall hoping that would fix the problem.  I attached a shot of the PodXp module and as you can see all it shows is the Weather Channel logo...when I clicked it after setting it up with the city code (Hartford, Ct.) it doesn't respond.  When I use Vistabar the module has the sun picture but "grayed"over.  Anyone have a clue or solution?  :frown: http://www.crystalxp.net/forum/mesimages/304800/mt screen2.jpg1..jpg

That's because Weather.com changed how their system works. Get Vista Rainbar 4.5 RC4 (from http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtop [...] f=26&t=704 ) or change all xoap to xml in the weather INI files :)

Goto:
C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets\Weather

and then press CTRL + F, and search for *.ini

Then open each INI file, and change:
Url=http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/#Zip#?cc=*&unit=#Unit#

to

Url=http://xml.weather.com/weather/local/#Zip#?cc=*&unit=#Unit#
