i am running xp home sp3 and im making a partition so i can install win 7 on it and i just want to run through this so i dont screw it up...
open command prompt
type cmd
then type diskpart
then type extend size=n disk=n noerr (the n in size is the size in megabytes or how big partition is and the n in disk is the disk you want it off eg c)
ok if that is right then im ok but how do i install 7 on a partition????
or does it have a option on the install...
