Hello folks,
I've got a problem that hopefully will be solved quickly. Since I am using my new computer I cannot use any other Visual Styles than the luna.msstyle and windows classic one.
They are not listed in the "Appearance" menu. and when I activate them manually by using Tune Up Utilities the Visual Style support is deactivated completely after rebooting.
 
can any of you maybe tell me why this happens and how I can fix this?

You need to patch a file called UxTheme.dll. Download patcher from below:
 
for Windows XP SP2: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Deskt [...] inal.shtml
for Windows XP SP3: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Syste [...] -SP3.shtml
 
Then reboot, and the 3rd party themes should work
