The theme's Iv downloaded here for Windows XP SP3 aren't loading on Re-Boot. I cant figure out why and i didn't see anything in the first 4 pages of posts... it just reboots at windows classic
any help?

Well,zaduro Probably you're talking about a 3rd party XP theme right? Was the theme installed before you install SP3? If yes, you need to patch your uxtheme.dll again Use this to patch it and restart your machine. If classic windows are seen, apply the theme you want & restart again
If the above conditions are not met and you're having problem with loading your theme (visual style), try following.
1 Open Run command & type "services.msc" without quotes. 2 Under the appearing window search Themes services & double click it. 3 In the Themes Properties window, change the startup type to Automatic & click Start to start the theme services. 4 Then go to the Recovar tab and under 'First failure' & 'Second failure' make sure that 'Restart the service' option is on 5 Then try a restart and see what happens
Also keep us posted in any case of problem so we can be helpful

okay i downloaded the uxtheme.dll thing where do i put it >.>? i used something called UXTender befor to patch it... i have no idea where to put this file x] on uxtender you click a butten and then reboot O_o
i searched for the uxtheme.dll and its in system32 and somewhere called C:\WINDOWS\servicepackfiles\i386
and thanks Neil and legace for being quick i thought i was going to have to wait a while

okay i got the problem fixed, i think it was the patch UXTheme.dll patcher i used i cant remember what it was called and i allready deleted it and my brother used the same thing on his computer and he said something modified some of his world of worldcraft add ons no idea if the program did it though
sorry i dont remember what the patcher was called :\ it
but i love the themes the windows 7 looks cool i dont like the way they made the start bar fat though it looks stupid >.>
