Works on: is actually tested mostly on Vista (I'm Home Basic happy User), but should work on any .NET 2.0 capable Windows system like Windows7 or XP(which I test on from time to time)

As usual I inform of possible solutions to most common problems:

  • check if You have .NET 2.0 installed
  • run application with full administrator rights, remember to unblock it
  • try using in compatibility mode with XP or Vista
  • disabling themes for application might help too

I also would be very glad for bug reports and opinions :) It really help me in with development. :D

and why I love repositories so much :loveit: there should really be more interest from other developers in it... for example famous Lefreut TT would go perfectly with Koji Higashino WinFlip (He already agreed to add it to official 3rd part software repositories... but wait everyone can make their Own!)... in other words can someone try to convince Him ;) (no luck with my try, I mean no response by that)

Great work. I don't have Windows XP now, but once I get a chance to sit on a XP box, I will surely test this.
You've come a long way, keep it up :)

It does look quite nice, however I unfortunately just switched completely to Windows 7, and I'm not sure if this will work there.

If I decide to dual boot Vista again, I'll be sure to check it out then ;)

Thanks :) As I had opportunity to say: it's just 1 mb, on most connections it's less than 1 minute do download - for me, if counting only that: it's enough reason to try it :D

Thanks! However, it works with Vista(actually it's developed on Vista Basic), was tested on XP (my second notebook), and was reported to work on Windows7 - which is reasonable as it should have compatibility with older OS. So You can try it on any of those I think :)  (just remember to have .NET installed)

I'm sure You will love upcoming update with new feature

Neil lots of features don't work on Vista sorry to say. (Might just be 64-bit only though) Anyways it preforms great! And barely uses any ram!

Well it's a good feature!

shame about all the negative comments, but I'd just ignore the majority. Especially since they are all using it on xp (damn LH) when it was made ideally for Vista anyway.

Works fine over here! Still not something I'd use a lot, my Vista install is slow enough  And surprisingly I'm not that much into customisation.

Many features were fixed and updated in newest 10.1! :D And on performance - trying to do my best, my computer isn't fast so I have to make everything as fast as possible at the moment (and optimization is my hobby... :D testing blocks of code with stopwatch(virtual of course) is funny :P)

As it's mostly tested on my Vista Basic - but still most of problems just are from my experience mostly .NET related, I mean individual installation differences for example etc.

NV offers great range of effects, some are just on load or unload - for example wallpaper generating or turning taskbar transparent :) (my personal favourites from this category) And I always intend to code it as fast and low resource use as possible - I have only 1 GB of Ram in my Vista Basic, and my notebook isn't the fastest available so I have to ^-^' (not to mention my older computers, on which I try NV too ^O^)

In latest NV You could suspend Nimi temporary while playing game, just by single click in menu! :D (still a lot of things vere fixed for 10.1, it's like completely new program ;) )

Wow the update made applying changes a lot more easy. :great:
And also when I first started the program I was really neat how it new my name!!
The jelly windows still don't work  :frown:  but its OK I notice that I rarely move my windows most of time there maximized.
I like some of the minimizing effects!  :great:
I'll post the results from my other computer later I would post now but Tune Up utilities deleted my Windows XP VHD (Virtual hard drive) and my Vista 32-bit.   :frown:

I always believe that software should be outgoing to User :)

hmm and could You try using fluid windows? It would help me identify the problem with jelly windows You have.

P.s.: I love new aurora fade effect ;) it goes great with NV official wallpaper
