Hey everyone, a couple of months ago I tried the BricoPack Vista Inspirat while having the XP SP3 installed and my pc had strange crashs and then I realised that the pack wasn't supposed to work with SP3 but I just saw that there isn't anymore any messages saying "don't install this pack if you have the sp3" so I'm wondering if it's ok to install this pack while having the xp sp3 installed? (i don't have xp64)

Thanks a lot

i too have SP3 with the pack installed, and its worked fine for me. the only bad thing with my pc is this assert failed thing that pops up on boot up. (IE8 probably to blame) just be careful. get a registry error on boot up and you will have to preform a system recovery. happened to me once. oh well.

I run SP3 and it ran perfectly on mine I would say so. They probably updated it along side with the windows xp updates if not shortly after I will test it again tomarrow and repost you my results if you want :)
UPDATE
in the about bricopacks section it says it has to be sp2 or sp it says nothing about sp3. I would make sure you create a system restor before testing it on your own.

Bricopack Vista Inspirat support Windows XP sp3 :) x86 & does not support x64 systems
But the earlier versions on the sp3 may give unreliable effects due to the inexperienced patcher of uxtheme.dll
So in any case of problem with the visual style, manually patch the sp3 uxtheme.dll With sp3 patcher
If you're installing bricopacks over the new microsoft product updates like IE8, & Windows Live, better to re-install them after the bricopack installation
