Everytime i show this bar and close its window, it goes away, until i have to re-enable it again, i have win xp, in vista, it's always on the left, in my xp, it disappears, plzz is there a way to make it always remain on the left? or a way to change it to vista's folder bar style?? 1. Open a folder, and enable the Folder bar.
3. Select Tools -> Folder Options
4. Click on the View Tab
5. Click Apply To All Folders
6. Press OK and you should now always have the folder bar.

hmmm tried that but it didnt work, after i closed the folder and opened it again it disappeared and i had to re-enable it :S Thanksss for the fast reply but plzz is there another way? thanks again

Try this:
 Open My Computer and go to Tools, Folder Options, File Types andfind the folder icon next to (none) and Folder. Click it, go toAdvanced click Explore, then Set Default.
