i am just useing crystal xp first time i install crystalxp successfull but i dont know that how to install PNGs so can any one tell me that how can i use that PNG it is very new for me t

Well, if you would like to use PNGs with Windows you will have to use a special program like IconTweaker or other various things.

Though there are many PNG to ICO converters so you can use them with regular Windows shorcuts without the use of an external program.

Converticon is one of them.  it is web based so no instalation or download is necissary.  

PNGs are usually ment to be used with Dock programs like ObjectDock or RocketDock.

I actually can't sorry.  I am not a Windows user and when I was I never used that particular application.  I can only suggest searching in the forums for more information or of course Google.

What do you want to do with these icons?
IconTweaker is used to change Windows default icons.
And this pack only contains Folder icons.  
So normally icons in this pack are used only to change one or two folder icons.  

Example : You have a folder containing your graphic creations and you want to change this folder icon by a vista one (with Photoshop's logo for example).
Just "right clic on this folder --> Properties --> Personnalise --> Change icon" and you select the icon you want.  

What do you want to do?
Change software icons? If yes, I can explain you a way to do that.

By the way, another .png into .ico converting software : AveIconifier.

Yeah i want to change the folder icons itself but your method doesn't work always for example there is a folder icon for windows,my pictures,drives,my music...these folders icons can not be changed by the way you told me...

You can do this very easily with IconTweaker.  

No   i tried  a lot but in vain i am not able to change the icons...

So, you downloaded this pack, and then?
I explain you what to do.

1. Extract the .zip file you just downloaded in a folder (My Documents\Icons for example).
2. Open Icontweaker.
3. Select "Icons" and choose the icon you want to modify (My Pictures, Hard Drive, ...).
4. Click "Change".
5. Click on the "Open" icon (on the top, extreme left) or "File --> Open".
6. Select the icon you want in the directory you extracted the .zip file.

It's done.  

Hey nice explanation but you try it out once then you will know the problem i kept trying the very same thing but nothing happens that icon does not get added into the list nor gets changed !!!!!!!!

I didn't knew that.

But I have found the solution.  
You have to reconvert the .png files into .ico.
Do it with AveIconifier, which is very easy to use (drag&drop).  

And the it works.  

I will report this trouble to the author of this pack.  

There is an alternative than having to convert all your icons to use IconTweaker...though ti is not free...

You could try IconPackager by Stardock...

IconPackager can convert several .png files into .ico in the same time??    

Or how do you want to do that?  
This pack is not available as .iconpackage file.
So you will have to do the same thing (and to change the icons one by one too) with this software.
