Once, I wrote a topic about speeding up Vista with ReadyBoost. The thing with speeding up Vista with your flash memory. For this speeding up, you don't have to plug in anything. You only need to have SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) hard disk. So, enhance your PC with this trick. Squeeze more of your PC.

NOTE: For everything you do, I (as well as CrystalXP.net) am not responsible.

How to use

1) Open Start Menu.
2) In Start Search, type Device Manager and hit Enter.

3) Expand your hard drives list
4) Right click on your hard disk and hit Properties
5) Go to Policies menu

6) Check Enable Advanced Performance (but be aware of the message bellow!!!)
7) Hit OK and enjoy

How to Turn Off

1) Navigate back to Policies menu of your hard disk in Device Manager.
2) Uncheck Enable Advanced Performance.
3) Hit OK and you turned it off

I hope you enjoyed this short guide about speeding up more Windows Vista

1) No.
2) Disk loses power when your computer doesn't have power any more.
3) I don't have a laptop  I really don't know. When you turn this option on, and you suddenly lose power, there's a risk that you could lose more data then without this option on. Look, even without this option on, you could lose (or corrupt) your data if you don't regulary turn the computer off
4) Some people could do something wrong and then blame me

IE and Windows Explorer work better because now your SATA hard drive caches files better
