Welcome!

I introduce you to ResEdit by TGT Software!  ResEdit is an excellent application that lets you edit many system files to mainly change the appearence of your computer.  There are many tutorials on CrystalXP that talk about changing system tray icons, and that's what many mainly use it for :oui:

For example if we dislike the Windows Live Messenger icon in the system tray we can find that file and swap it with an icon of our choice.

We can also edit our visual styles with ResEdit and a photo editing program like Adobe Photoshop or The Gimp.  If you wanted to edit the 'globe' on the taskbar in the Crystal Clear skin/bricopack you can do that.

Thanks for this thread Draginol :loveit:

Actually ResEdit was first developed as a part of StyleBuilder to develop Shellstyles for Visual styles :oui: then it was upgraded in to a stand alone

So from Tgtsoft, the No1 software to develop and modify Visual styles in Style Builder (shareware).
But most of the people use ResEdit for that purpose since it's free and has little options (not complicated like Style Builder)
