Welcome to CrystalXP,

I just speak French (sorry for bad english), but I will try to explain... :paf:

It is not possible to stop the slideshow, the plugin does not allow it.. but you have a black screen at times because you have a hidden system file "Thumbs.db" in the folder of your image...

You must disable caching thumbnails in the folder to stop the black screen, delete the file "Thumbs.db" if necessary... and refresh the slideshow :jap:

P.S. your sign is so big (320 x 80 pixels max)

By 'Vista Rainbar' I suppose its a sidebar on the desktop...

And regarding pausing an image,  I think what I used to do was to click the pause button on the slide show gadget... I am using Vista Ultimate(not any bricopack or anything, the real one) on it, its like that... I suppose that should work in the Rainbar

No, no, there is no button "pause".. it's a gadget for Rainmeter (here), not for Sidebar Vista

You see only the picture because the file "Thumbs.db" is a hidden system file...

To remove these file :
Simply disable caching of images in Windows Explorer.
- To do this: Open Windows Explorer > tools > folder options..
- Tab "display" > check "not to the thumbnails caching".
- After this, the files should have disappeared.

To be sure, you can delete the file "Thumbs.db" in the folder of your picture.. :jap:
