I have just upgraded my monitor from an old square style to a widescreen.  Old resolution was 1028 x 768.  New Resolution is 1680 x 1050.  Rocketdock is stuck using only the top left hand corner of my monitor as if it was the whole screen.  For instance I have rocket dock set to "bottom" and it's in the middle of the screen.  If I set it to right it is also in approximately the middle of the screen.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.  Does anyone know how to tell Rocketdock my screen is now bigger?

I also use rocketdock at home on a monitor with the same resolution as this one with no problems.  So I'm guessing it must be something left over from the original install.

I've attached pictures.  The first one is rocketdock "docked" to the right.  The second is rocketdock "docked" to the bottom.  You can clearly see it thinks my screen is much smaller then it is.

I think I know how to fix this, but I am in school now.
I'll probably post further instructions when I get home.

Lets try to do it the easy way first.
Log on to an account with adminstrator privileges, and change the screen resolution to something random. Then change it back to the preferred resolution. RocketDock should've now automatically changed place.

If this doesn't help, tell me, and I will post instructions which should solve this.

nope didn't work.  The only resolution rocketdock will center itself at is 1028 x 768 (the original resolution when I first installed it).  Anything else and rocketdock still acts like the resolution is 1028 x 768.

Ok, try this:

1) Close all instances of RocketDock
2) Download http://files.punklabs.com/RocketDock/RocketDock-v1.3.5.exe
3) Run the downloaded file
4) When it asks for the installation directory, browse to the Vista Inspirat directory, which should be something like:
C:\WINDOWS\BricoPacks\Vista Inspirat 2
OR
D:\WINDOWS\BricoPacks\Vista Inspirat 2

Now, install it. Then, run RocketDock.exe and it should've fixed it.

Nope still nothing.  It installed the new version of rocketdock but it's still not aligned correctly.  I once again tried your first "easy" tip of switching the resolution and that didn't work this time either.

I hope it can be fixed.  I love rocketdock but it's useless the way it is now.  Thanks for your help so far.

Try the Defaults button in Dock Settings.

THANK YOU!!!  That worked.  I was in the settings trying to fix it earlier and thought about clicking that button but said to myself "nah, that's just too simple it won't work".

Thank you again I really appreciate it.
