I have tried to search this but I can't find my answer? Mainly because I am not sure of the name of what I am looking for?

Before I installed, the Inspirat2 Bricopack (which is great). I had short cuts to common tasks to the left of my network neighbourhood, my computer and Control Panel.

For instance when I opened My computer and selected several files, to the left it told me the number of files selected and the size.

In Network Neighbourhood It always showed the icons for, viewing other computers on the network etc...

What is that called?  and how do I get it back?

Inspirat2 does give half of these feature in a useless bar above the window, which has to be stretched to see all but I hate this feature.  I don't want to have to hover or right click/properties to see the size of selected files. Can I get this view back without removing inspirat2 (which I don't wish to do)

Welcome to CrXP Deeno  Just change the shellstyle of the VS from Desktop Properties->Apperance or simply use another VS

Thanks Legace

You know I tried what I thought was every permutation in the properties/Appearance but every thing kept losing the General theme.  I never thought for one moment that if I choose XP as the colour scheme under the Property menu it would effect the Explorer layout (how silly is that) Typical MS to think things through so briefly.

Anyway it works so great.

Sorry Asher, I didn't understand your abbreviations but thanks.

All the best

Can I presume that the rest of the style is still Vista Like then, after applying this?
If it's not to much of a problem could someone give a screenshot?

On the Vista Inspirat.
When you go on the themes tab if you set the VS as Vista Inspirat 2 and then that like subsection as 4 - Classic XP, do you get the Vista Look with the common tasks at the left like in XP?

Yes, the rest of the theme is the same  You will lose the bar on the top and get a bar on the right.
