Adobe Photoshop Installing Error

Dear All,

 

I am facing serious problem to install Adobe Photoshop (Version 8 & 9, i tried both of them) in my computer. During installation i received an error message as follows: -

 

Component Transfer Error
Component: Spelling
File Group: Spelling
File: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Spelling\
Error: The filename, directory name, or volume lable syntax is incorrect.
Setup will be aborted now.

 

Please help in this regard.

Exactly how did you get BOTH versions? Did you just happen to have US$ 1500 lying around for nothing?

I bouth CD from market. but i tried for a long time, but in vain. I am unable to install. do you have any tip / tric for that.

My guess is that what you have is a pirated/fake disk. That would be how you got BOTH versions, and that would probably be why it isn't working, seeing as most pirated disks are corrupt.

 

Don't mean to offend you in any way, just my point of view.

 

If it is the original, in which case I'm sorry for what I said, then the disk is probably corrupt. You can ask Adobe for an exchange if it still under the Warranty period.

If you are installing a pirated disk we cannot help you further.

 

If not, check that the CD is clean and undamaged. Ask Adobe-Support or Online-Help.

 

The Gimp is mostly the same as PS and it`s free
