Hi, I just wondered if it was safe too install windows updates with a Bricopack installed, as I think that the editing of the .dlls etc done by the Bricopack would conflict with the ones done by the update, causing problems.

Hi ZackyJW!

Bricopacks works fine with Windows-Updates.

If you wanna install SP3 read this. If you install some single updates, just do it and if icons changes on your system click START<->All Programs<->Bricopacks<->UPDATE

ZackyJw - i haven't experienced any difficulties with window updates with bricopacks. the updates are usually for vulnerabilites, not for shell styles. since windows o/s is opensource platform, microsoft will probably always have updates for mainly vulnerabilities due to international hackers [viruses & spyware, and also, 3rd party software configs].

[offtopic]Windows is not open source.

The vulnerabilities are not caused by hackers (most of the time).

viruses & spyware, and also, 3rd party software configs
Most updates [MRT or whatever they call it does remove malware] don't protect you from the malware itself, but they fix holes, which malware may use to do damage.[/offtopic]
