Windows XP Settings Question...

Whenever something new happens, such as someone starting/updating an MSN conversation, or even a new window popping up, it'll immediately go to that window (that window will go to the front). Because of this, typing is harder and a few programs get screwed up (because they have multiple windows opening up). How can I fix this?

Thanks! Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this. :err:

Here and here are programs to keep the windows you want alwayws on top.

I`m, not sure if you can change settings in XP to keep single windows on top?

I don't think you're understand my question. Before, whenever a window "updated," it would just flash orange on my taskbar but would stay behind any windows that were infront of it. Now it comes to the "front" and interrupts whatever I'm doing. Is that any better of an explanation?

Thanks for your attempt to help, though. ^_^

Have you done something to your system recently? Any new programs, etc. that might cause the problem?

Thank you! I Google'd it before, but it didn't seem to find anything of use. Thanks for this.
