Hello,
I have installed the vista inspirat visual pack modifying all the icons of the folders.
Then I wanted to uninstall it to come back to the default windows icons.

Unfortunately, now I still have the blue icons for the folders and it is difficult visually to work with that.
Can you tell me how to come back to the default icons.

I have already tried through the menu TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/etc....

Hi Patrick !

You need to delete your iconcache, TweakUI can do it for. Download TweakUI (from Microsoft, right side), install it and at the bottom you have theoption "REPAIR", chose repair icons (reboot) ...

If it don`t work please make a screenshot from your windows-explorer with the toolbar, it`s possible that you not completly uninstalled it ...

or...you can just delete "IconCache.db" Usually located in Documents and Settings/Username/Local Settings/Application Data. After deletion reboot. It will re-create the file with default icons.

Hey, i m facing the same problem & none of the above solutions worked incluidng TweakUI. This is driving me crazy as i hv tried n tested all sorts of solutions!!!!
