| SpeedyGuitarMan Profil: New Penguin | Bug: After I run the executable, an error window with a header of 'ViStart' pops up saying the following: Run-time error '457': This key is already associated with an element of this collection. Build No.: Not accessible due to the bug stopping the program from running. But it is the newest verion of BETA 6 on their homepage as of 07-06-2008 (DD-MM-YYYY) What I did beforehand: Automatic Updates installed some new updates for XP Professional. After the reboot, ViStart did not work anymore. I am good with computers so even a mild description should do if you figure out how to fix this bug. I would really like to see this program back on my desktop again. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks, Adam | |

SpeedyGuitarMan Profil: New Penguin | Thanks for that But i still get the same error when i try to run the program. Any other suggestions? EDIT: I also contacted the creator of the program a few days ago, and then again yesterday. Both via e-mail. But still no reply. Thanks, Adam
poiru Profil: Moderator | Download the older version of ViStart Breakfastclub gave the link to, and run the installme.bat file inside the RAR file. Then run ViStart and it should work.. And make sure you have the Segoe UI fonts installed.

poiru Profil: Moderator | Download ViStart beta 6 (the latest version), install it. Then go to C:\Program Files There, copy the ViStart folder. Paste the ViStart folder on the desktop. Now go to Start menu -> run -> type in %appdata% and delete the ViStart folder (if it exists). Open the ViStart folder on the desktop, and run ViStart.exe. It should work.
