Okay heres what happend i downloaded Vista Inspirnt 2, dident like it uninstallled it. BUT see the login screen is still the same one that i got from Vista Inspirnt 2 and so are the icons. How can i get the orgrinal's. Please help me? do i have to restore the Computer to factory settings thru the boot screen etc.

Did you do all windows updated ? Install SP3 ? (this will overwrite your systemfiles)

Do a repair-install of XP, this will overwrite your systemfiles from the Win-XP-CD. You need to update windows after this ...

Or search your harddisc for "logonui.exe", sometimes windows make backups from files like this (in different folders) ...

Well if i get Sp3 will i still be able to do everything i do orgrinally on sp2? or will it CHANGE EVERYTHING?
and i dont hav ethe Windows Xp disc. BUT the closest thing i havr to to restore my computer to factory settings

Try This:

logonui.rar

I don't know if it works, but when you download the file, just extract the file named logonui.exe in your CWINDOWS/System32/  Directory. And if it asks you to replace it, Say Yes.

OMG i found the cure its this file found in this package of http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?auto...p;showfile=6845
The file is called Restore_Logon I suggest a Mod put it up incase anyone ever gets in the same trouble as me
I suggest there was a File here  %windir%\Resources\LogonUI\ (this came from the readme)

Dude you saved me a bunch of work with this rar file.

I was having trouble with my logon screen, and by trouble i mean it wasn't loading and giving me an error message  

Then after clicking ok numerous times it would bring me to my backdoor login. But thank you soooo much man
