i have installed bricopack yet after rebooting, Yahoo Messenger is inaccessible despite the fact i downloaded and installed the YM again successfully. HELP! my os is Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002.

did you do all windows-updates ?

I wouzld say install the Messenger again shouzld fix that problem, maybe upgrade or downgrade the messenger-version  

This is odd. I use the Bricopacks, and YM is working for me
What Bricopack do you have installed?

Maybe try Trillian, it`s a multi-messenger, it can handle ICQ, MSN and Yahoo, Basic-Version ins free ...

under startup >RUN >key-in >MSCONFIG > Select >NORMAL STARTUP - LOAD ALL DEVICES DRIVERS AND SERVICES >Then > OK
